So much potential! Should be 5 stars, but I am frustrated by the frequent outages, and annoyed that we are placated with alliterated slogans like "Campus Cooling" instead of solutions. AC has long been a problem. JWC is proud of its Olympic history, and there are 4 Olympians at UCLA in 2026, but can't keep the lights in the gym on when it's 86 degrees? Not a great look. As far as the gym goes, 8 squat racks is okay, but 4 benches is rough. I have waited 15 minutes for a bench. Not practical. There are a lot of dumbbells, from 5 to 100lbs each, 2.5lb increase until you hit 40lbs, then 5lbs steps. Each DB section has 8-10 benches, half are flat and the other half adjustable. There are a few good sized areas, but they're very dense with machines, and with a crowd they are difficult to maneuver. TL'DR - Great people, good vibes, but check the website before going due to frequent outages. Expect a crowd and okay equipment.

3.5 rounded up because the people are great. Please upgrade the AC and bring back the T bar row. While it might as well be full of models and influencers, people are friendly. There's a unique sense of support and camaraderie here. I've made random friends in the dumbbell courtyard numerous times, it's encouraging. But can't have a shit AC in LA, in a place where people workout. Please get admin to drop fees during terms when access is restricted.

Attended an event here on May 20, 2023. The building was easy to find and clean. I liked the fact that there was a large space for the check in and event promo product tables before entering the basketball court area.

The equipments seem older than my grandma Some machines are even losing parts which is quite dangerous:( taking that much of money but couldn’t provide a safe place for student to workout 👎🏼 and it’s always too crowded
